ACTIVITIES

Within the Sea Cadets we participate in many Waterbourne activities. At Stonehaven Unit we offer a wide range of these activities and the chance to gain internationally recognised Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoe Union (BCU) Qualifications.

Within the Sea Cadets we participate in many Sporting activities. Stonehaven offer many sporting activities and compete in 5-a-side football and swimming.

The Sea Cadet training programme is organised into various categories. To the right you will find the various subjects on offer in the Corps. Many of the Specialisations and Proficiency's that are listed are on offer at our unit or if not locally, either at Area or National courses. The Duke of Edinburgh's (DoE) Award is an internationally recognised accreditation scheme designed to promote and reward personal and social development in young people between the ages of 14 and 25.
