JUNIOR SEA CADETS
At T.S. Carron we have a very popular Junior Sea Cadet section for boys and girls aged 10-12, so popular infact that at the current moment we have a waiting list. Once a Junior Cadet reaches the age 12 they are automatically transferred into the Sea Cadet Corps.
Junior Cadets have lots of fun just like the Sea Cadets, if not more. As a Junior Cadet you can take part in lots of activities such as pulling (rowing), sailing, swimming, 5-a-side football and lots more.
The junior section parade on a Monday night along with the older cadets and there are also activites/courses arranged for weekends throughout the year.
The Juniors also have their own uniform, a sweatshirt and baseball cap with the Sea Cadet Corps badge. The Juniors' training is fun and light-hearted and along with playing sports and games they learn about Naval traditions and customs. |
