SAILING
At T.S. Carron we are a registered Royal Yachting Association Training Centre and as a result we can offer internationally recognised qualifications in sailing.
The RYA National Sailing Scheme has been designed to help you enjoy whichever aspect of Dinghy sailing that appeals to you.
In the Sea Cadets there is the opportunity to go to sea onboard the Corps' offshore sailing vessels. The Corps has three of these of which two are yachts, T.S. City Liveryman and T.S. Vigilant. The SCC's third sailing vessel is a tall ship, T.S. Royalist. The voyage lasts a week and during it you can visit many different ports both in the UK and sometimes international ports aswell. While onboard these vessels the cadets will learn how to work in a team environment along with learning how to sail these boats.
